Vallum hosts party for the local community on 29th April 2011.

Being situated on the Roman Wall could be considered a great site for the biggest 'street' party ever!  Only there would only be a few people at every point on the Wall.  Hmmmm .. we could shout to eachother as we toast the Royal couple.

The Lishmans at East Wallhouses, where Vallum is situated, have taken the initiative and organised a BBQ at Vallum for all the neighbouring residents, farmers and their friends and families.

Tickets are available from Vallum at £8 per head.  The event is non profit making and in the spirit of the William and Kate's 'charitable donation' wedding present theme, there will be an opportunity to make charitable donations on the night for The Priory School in Hexham and the charity MIND.

We have our bunting up already and are polishing our barbie!  It should be a great night of Pimms and partying.

VALLUM WILL BE CLOSED ON THE DAY OF THE ROYAL WEDDING, ALLOWING STAFF TO ENJOY THE EVEN WITH THEIR OWN FRIENDS AND FAMILIES.
