Vallum Ice Cream Parlour and Tearoom was opened in August 2005 and we've grown to become one of the most popular days out in the region.Our surroundings on Hadrian's Wall and the local attractions including a Brewery and the Fifiefofum art gallery mean that you can find plenty to do in and around Vallum.

Peter and Vicky Moffitt own and run Vallum Farm. Peter's family have been dairy farmers for over 100 years and it was in 2004 that Peter decided to introduce a new breed to what had been a predominantly black and white herd, the Brown Swiss cow. Peter diversified into ice cream production in 2006 in response to the wonderful milk they produce.

Many customers travel for miles to enjoy the home cooking and delicious ice creams! With a lovely children's play area and a number of other resident small businesses on site, there is plenty to see and do. The friendly staff are always happy to help and accommodate any requirements in terms of accessibility or diet.
